After your first wax treatment

If you've always shaved, your hairs are very active. They grow very quickly and irregularly. This also means that your first wax treatment after all that shaving will never give a 100% smooth result. Some stubble is just too short to wax and just too long not to feel. After a 2nd wax treatment you will notice (if you have not shaved in between) that your skin feels smoother then after the 1st time. Only after a 3rd waxing will the hair grow more evenly and you will remain hair-free for longer.

A little TLC can't hurt afterwards – “It's wise to wait until the next day before exercising – sweat can irritate the skin. In addition, wait 24 hours before sunbathing (tanning bed also counts), avoid body lotions and don't put the shower too hot.” In short: leave the skin alone for a day.

If your skin remains sensitive or has a reaction after waxing, then Aloe vera gel or Sudo cream is the best choice. Sudo cream contains Zinc Oxide, which protects, softens and supports the skin, but ensures that the skin can still breathe. You can also cool with an ice pack.
